Whiskey Bourbon Tables

Whiskey Bourbon Tables

A whiskey bourbon table is a great way to display your entire collection! The wood base and legs give it a rustic feel and the brown finish will add warmth to your space! The top of the table comes in two pieces: a large surface area for storing bottles and glasses, or it can be separated into two smaller shelves if you'd like something less bulky on your bar cart or countertop. It also has two doors that open up so you can store extra bottles inside! Surprise!

Types of Whiskey Bourbon Bar Tables

The first step to building a whiskey bourbon table is to think about what you want it to be. You can build a simple one, or you can make it as complex as you want!

  • Basic - No doors, shelves or lights
  • Deluxe - With doors, shelves and lights

Time to Plan

When you're planning a bar table, the most important thing is to come up with a simple plan for your space. You don't want to get too caught up in the details and lose sight of what's important--your guests! And remember that planning is just as much about knowing what not to do, as it is knowing what should be done. So, before we get into specifics on how to decorate your bar table, let's talk about the big do not’s!

If you're going for an elegant look with fine china plates and sterling silverware, then there's no reason why anyone should ever see the underside of those items. So think twice before adding something unnecessary like napkin rings or place holders; these little touches might seem cute at first glance but can easily become overwhelming when combined with all other elements in an overcrowded design scheme.

Small Accessories

Let’s Talk Accessories! – Chairs, Lighting, and Shelves

Once you've got the basic structure of your bar, it's time to add some furniture! Here at Wood & Barrel, we can add a few chairs around the table and then decorate it by putting a few bottles of Jack Daniels or bourbon on top of it. Next, we can create a shelf for glasses by using two wooden blocks and two wooden planks.  Finally, end with some lighting! We can add Glowstone blocks and Redstone torches for a final touch on top!

The most important thing for a whiskey bourbon table is that it be sturdy enough to hold your collection of bottles and glasses without them falling over and breaking. The next most important thing is that the table has enough space on top of it so that someone can sit down with their drink comfortably or stand up if they prefer. A good rule of thumb here would be at least two feet by four feet in size--that's large enough for two people sitting side-by-side with room left over at each end for more drinks or snacks! You'll also want some storage space underneath this surface where all those extra bottles will go once they're empty; this might mean adding an extra shelf beneath your seating area, or maybe just using an open cabinet underneath instead, which may look nicer anyway.
